Nibango is operated by BeatLabs FZE LLC ("we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the Nibango mobile applications, website, and related marketplace services.
Information we collect
- Account and contact data: username, display name, email address, phone number if you choose to add or share it, profile details, account identifiers, and authentication information.
- Authentication data: tokens from our identity provider(s) (e.g., Apple, Google) to sign you in. We do not receive your password from Apple or Google.
- Content you create: listings, product titles and descriptions, prices, categories, attributes, photos or videos, messages, offers, bids, reports, ratings, reviews, and other content you submit.
- Location data: approximate or precise location when you choose to use location-based features, publish a listing location, search nearby products, calculate distance, or share location in chat.
- Purchase and promotion data: records of paid features, promoted listings, native ads, boosts, purchase status, invoices or checkout identifiers, and related transaction metadata. Payment card or bank details are handled by Apple, Google, Stripe, or other payment providers and are not stored by Nibango.
- Advertising and performance data: impressions, clicks, contacts, and performance metrics for promoted listings and ads, including whether an authenticated user interacted with an ad or promotion.
- Device, usage, and diagnostic data: app version, device or push notification identifiers, product interactions, logs, crash reports, performance information, and analytics necessary to operate, secure, measure, and improve the service.
- Verification data: identity verification status and related information processed through verification providers such as Stripe Identity where this feature is available.
How we use your information
- Provide and maintain Nibango features, including accounts, listings, search, location-based discovery, chat, offers, bids, favorites, saved searches, notifications, profile pages, ratings, reports, blocking, and support.
- Secure the App, prevent abuse and fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
- Personalize the product experience, such as showing nearby products, saved searches, relevant listings, favorites, alerts, and recommendations.
- Measure and improve product features, ad and promotion performance, reliability, diagnostics, and user experience.
- Display, measure, and improve promoted listings, native ads, and other advertising or marketing features inside Nibango.
- Communicate with you about service updates and support.
Legal bases
We process your data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests (for example security, fraud prevention, product improvement, analytics, and marketplace operations), and to comply with legal requirements. Where required, we obtain your consent, such as for push notifications, precise location access, photos, camera access, and identity verification.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as needed to operate Nibango, provide features you request, process payments or verification, deliver notifications, host media, monitor reliability, measure ads and promotions, prevent abuse, comply with law, or protect users and our service.
Service providers may include hosting and database providers, object storage providers, email providers, Apple and Google authentication services, Apple Push Notification service, Firebase services, Sentry diagnostics, Stripe payment and identity services, and similar vendors that help us run the marketplace.
Some information you provide is visible to other users as part of the marketplace, such as your public profile, listings, product photos, approximate listing location, ratings, badges, and messages you send to other users.
Advertising and tracking
Nibango may show promoted listings, boosts, native ads, and other advertising inside the app or website. We may use data such as approximate location, product interactions, ad impressions, clicks, contacts, purchases, and account identifiers to display, measure, and improve those features.
We do not currently use your data to track you across third-party apps or websites for targeted advertising, and we do not share your data with data brokers. If our practices change, we will update this policy and our App Store privacy information.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Some records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, financial, tax, legal, or audit purposes. You may request deletion of your account within the App.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, or portability of your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. You can also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, such as by changing device permissions for notifications, location, camera, or photos.
International transfers
We may process data on servers located in the UAE, EU/EEA, United States, or other countries where we or our service providers operate, using appropriate safeguards where required.
Children
The App is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect data from children without appropriate consent.
Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
